Most Anticipated Addendum: Don Jon

I've been meaning to do this for a while, but it seems that Sin City, number 27 on my list, has been pushed back to next year. Luckily, there's one movie that caught my attention, especially after all the buzz it received at the SXSW film festival.

27. Don Jon
Starring: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Scarlet Johansson
Director: Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Writer: Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Release Date: September 27
Joseph Gordon-Levitt makes his writing and directorial film debut with a story about a New Jersey douchebag who's obsession with pornography starts to invade his love life and he tries to find redemption from his addiction. I love the tone the trailer cuts - it's a movie about a serious problem with a lot of guys, but it doesn't seem to be condescending. It just seems real. And from what I've heard, the film doesn't hold back on the porn - it's very graphic to the point of almost getting an NC-17 rating. Plus you have Tony Danza (TONY DANZA!) back from the dead and Scarlett Johansson playing a very stereotypical Jersey girl to the T. There's just something charming about this whole movie that I can't help but crack a smile every time I see this trailer. And a film that is unabashedly enthusiastic about Marky Mark's Good Vibrations will always find a spot on the list!
